At Northbridge University, we are looking for an Academic Program Coordinator - Beauty Program!

Summary:

The Academic Program Coordinator - Beauty Program offers assistance and support to the educational and administrative processes of a department or an academic program. Its main tasks will focus on five main areas: Teaching, Student Retention, Resume, Accreditation and Learning Assessment processes. This post is responsible for teaching a class per term through lectures and demonstrations in the classroom, the laboratory environment, mixed or online in accordance with the objectives of the program and the resume. The working hours will be agreed with the Dean of Academic Affairs, according to the institutional needs. The Program Coordinator develops day-to-day lesson plans as teaching guidelines, based on the approved resume, which are presented to the Dean of Academic Affairs prior to the beginning of each mandate. The retention of students is monitored daily and will be contacted the same day. The Program Coordinator is a full-time employee and is accountable directly to the Program Director or Dean of Academic Affairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in Employment:

- Comply or exceed the monthly and annual results of the program, including but not limited to retention, placement, certifications, monthly benchmarks and annual targets.

- Monitor the daily attendance of students within the program, provide the necessary measures to ensure high daily attendance and retention.

- Monitoring the daily contact of absent students by instructor in the program

- Prepare, plan and teach a class per term, offered in a selected modality by adhering to the instructor guidelines as described in the Manual of the Faculty of Northbridge University

- Provide active support to the university administration (Director of the Program or Dean of Academic Affairs) to help achieve the goals and objectives of the university.

- Help with the process of recruiting trainers for the program

- It ensures that program operations, staff, facilities and curricula are aligned with state regulatory, accreditation and programmatic agencies.

- It assists the Academic Department with New Guidance of the Faculty, Training Courses, classroom observations and monthly assignments of instructor classes.

- Responsible for active participation of students in monthly surveys for the program

- Keep an inventory of supplies, equipment and resources for requests for programs and processes as required.

- Conduct a program meeting with teachers per month to review the results and evaluations of the resume, retention and program

- Participate in all campus meetings, teacher meetings, departmental meetings and regional academic meetings, including meetings of the Study and Evaluation Committee

- Provide and maintain an annual professional development plan for employment and professional development

- Annual Professional Development Plan of the Monitoring Program for Professional and Professional Development

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in any discipline or,

- Minimum of two years in educational experience in a similar role (and) a technical degree in any of the disciplines of the Specialized School or Academic Department (Belleza)

- Minimum (1) active professional licenses of the Specialized School or Department (if applicable) (Belleza)
