Starting August 27, 2026, and running through June 16, 2027, you’ll be part of a collaborative educational team, working on-site across one or several school sites in the area. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as you’ll work closely with students and families from a variety of backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
• Current Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially in diverse environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across a range of age groups (caseload varies by site)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative services in both English and Spanish, ensuring culturally responsive care
• Travel between multiple assigned school sites to provide equitable access to services
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for compliance and student growth
