Job Position: Landscaper Location: Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Pay Rate: $22.00/hr-$24.00/hr Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Sat, 6:00AM-5:00PM Description The Landscaper is responsible for supporting daily landscaping operations while maintaining quality workmanship, professionalism, and safety standards. This role involves outdoor labor, property maintenance, and teamwork to complete landscaping projects efficiently and on schedule. This full-time position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, hands‑on training, and opportunities for growth within a professional work environment. Employees should be dependable, motivated, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Duties and Responsibilities Perform spring and fall clean‑ups by removing leaves, debris, weeds, and overgrowth to maintain clean and healthy properties. Install plants, flowers, shrubs, mulch, and other landscape materials according to project plans and customer expectations. Trim, prune, edge, and maintain flower beds, bushes, and landscaped areas using hand tools and powered landscaping equipment. Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely, including trimmers, blowers, hedge clippers, wheelbarrows, and shovels. Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials, tools, and equipment between company vehicles and job sites. Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and professionalism. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures and workplace expectations. Qualifications and Requirements Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
