Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Boiler Service Technicians for projects located in or around Greensboro, NC . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and startup of commercial and industrial boiler systems
- Service steam and hot water boilers
- Diagnose and repair burners, controls, motors, and electrical systems
- Perform combustion testing and burner adjustments
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and site surveys
- Install replacement components and perform system modifications as needed
- Complete service documentation and communicate findings with customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial boiler service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with burner systems and combustion controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control wiring
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Experience:
- Steam boiler systems
- Dual-fuel burners
- Combustion tuning
- Boiler controls and instrumentation
- Industrial or manufacturing environments
