Manage the overall flow of the operating room by serving as the circulating nurse, closely monitoring patient conditions and communicating updates in real time to protect patient safety. Coordinate the surgical field seamlessly by executing both scrub and instrument-handling functions with precision, ensuring the surgical team has exactly what they need when they need it. Collaborate closely with physicians and anesthesia teams to assist with line access and intubation, providing critical support during high-stakes moments of the procedure. Prepare and optimize the surgical environment by setting up specialized cardiovascular instruments and advanced equipment, ensuring a sterile, efficient, and ready-to-go operating room. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional preferences we're seeking Previous OR experience preferred.
