Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibility for patient assessment, monitoring, and collaboration with medical teams to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and clinical status.
• Float to Med Surg units as needed, delivering consistent and competent patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly, adhering to established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech 6.0 EMR system.
• Participate in call shifts, including some 24-hour on-call duties.
• Adhere to unit policies, including no more than three days off RTO requests during the contract.

Qualifications:

• Current ICU nursing license and active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven experience working in ICU, with Meditech 6.0 EMR familiarity preferred.
• Ability to float to Med Surg and adapt to different patient care needs.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
