Community GroundskeeperIn this role, you will be relied upon to keep our community grounds in tip-top shape and well-maintained. That includes but is not limited to, cleaning up trash and debris, raking leaves, sweeping walkways, mowing lawns, and trimming trees and hedges. In addition, you will also be adding curb appeal to the community by planting flowers, grass, bushes, etc. Keeping plants in top form by watering and applying fertilizer or pesticides will be required as well.Essential Functions:Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing qualityKeep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trashMaintain tree limbs, rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as neededMow lawns and trim edges around walks, flower beds, etc.Landscaping, including but not limited to, planting flowers, grass, bushes, etc.Water plants and grass, and apply fertilizer or pesticides as neededPerform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeepingFollow safety precautions including but not limited to, chemical use and OSHA requirementsMaintain all OSHA and PPE equipment as required by Company/State standardsMaintain professional behavior which does not interfere with the individual's work, the work of another team-member, or the quality of life for community residentsMaintain community assets including grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, etc.Respond to emergency calls as directed by management if applicableThe use of electronic devices, such as a work tablet or computer, for the tracking and logging of work orders and daily email managementNotify management of any incident/accident immediatelyWork effectively with all team members to uphold the YES standards of community appearanceEffectively communicate with vendors and residentsAssist with maintenance tasks, including but not limited to delivering notices and conducting meter reads as directed by the community managerAdditional duties as assigned by management and subject to changePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours per dayUse hands, including fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls which may be of a repetitive motionReach with arms and handsFrequently required to be flexible by climbing, balancing, or occasionally crawling in confined spacesVision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focusRequired to regularly push, pull, lift, or carry 50 lbs. Occasionally up to 85 lbs.Use of potentially hazardous chemicalsMust be able to climb ladders, occasionally up to an 8-foot ladder safelyEducation and Experience:A valid in-state driver's license is requiredA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
