Print Production Account Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Print Production Account Coordinator to join a fast-paced print and direct mail production environment. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day client communications, coordinating print orders, and ensuring jobs move smoothly from intake through production and final delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven setting where priorities can shift quickly. Responsibilities include communicating with clients via phone and email, providing job status updates, translating client requirements into production instructions, tracking job progress, coordinating changes with internal teams, and ensuring all orders are accurately documented. This position works closely with production, sales, and management teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. Candidates should have experience in print production, preferably offset and digital, with additional knowledge of direct mail or related environments considered a plus. Communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential. This is an on-site role with flexibility required during peak production periods, including occasional overtime or weekend work

salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding print orders, job status, and project requirements
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to review specifications, timelines, and order details
• Translate client requirements into clear production instructions to ensure accurate and timely job execution
• Monitor job progress through all stages of production and provide proactive updates to clients as needed
• Coordinate changes, revisions, and updates between clients and internal production teams
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues or complaints in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
• Collaborate closely with production, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow and job completion
• Ensure all orders are accurately entered, documented, and tracked throughout the production process
• Submit digital or physical proofs based on client or internal requirements and approvals
• Support accurate invoicing by verifying job details, specifications, and completion status
• Maintain consistent follow-up on active jobs to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met
• Assist in managing production schedules by communicating delays, updates, or material requirements
