Housekeeping Manager

Experienced Housekeeping Manger for our Resort, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa that is opening SOON, located in Johnson City, Texas. The successful candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is energetic and able to work in a fast paced organization. The candidate needs strong leadership skills, the ability to mutli-task, strong communication skills and work within assigned deadlines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Creating weekly schedules for room attendants, housemen and laundry staff

Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department

Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff; hiring, performance evaluations, training and development

Develop department’s annual budget. Monitors performance against plan

Maintains room quality based on hotel objectives

Maintains productivity and labor cost goals

Orders and receives supplies and handles inventories

Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas

Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience

Must have experience in the hospitality/guest services industry

Flexibility with schedule, must be able to work weekends

Bilingual a plus
