Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Independent Contractor role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Independent Contractor will perform hands‑on property services to support make‑ready and maintenance needs for multifamily communities, including tasks such as unit turns, basic repairs, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep. Daily responsibilities may include inspecting units and common areas, identifying and reporting issues, completing work orders, and ensuring units are move‑in ready within established timelines. The role involves coordinating with site managers, following project schedules and quality standards, and using company tools or apps to track progress and report completed work. Contractors are expected to adhere to safety guidelines, maintain a professional demeanor on‑site, and deliver reliable, consistent results aligned with MultiPro’s service standards. Qualifications Hands‑on property services experience, such as unit turns, basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and general maintenance in multifamily or residential settings. Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple work orders, meet make‑ready deadlines, and follow project schedules with minimal supervision. Ability to use mobile apps or digital tools for work order management, documentation, and communication with project managers and on‑site teams. Knowledge of safety practices, use of appropriate tools and equipment, and adherence to OSHA and site‑specific safety requirements. Reliable transportation, ability to work on‑site across the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, and capacity to lift and move materials as required by the job. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a professional, customer‑focused approach when interacting with property staff and residents. Previous experience as an independent contractor, vendor, or service provider in property management or construction is strongly preferred.
