Groundskeeper / Maintenance PorterApartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hard-working Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a team.Pay: $16 hourly and Transportation AllowanceKey Responsibilities:Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areasPerform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulchingUse hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weatherKeep the maintenance shop organized and stockedReport safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service SupervisorAssist with unit "make-ready" tasks as requestedFollow company safety procedures and property security protocolsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipmentBasic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenanceGood time management and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license requiredReliable transportation required; may be assigned to multiple properties during a shiftAbility to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work (standing, walking, bending, kneeling)Able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)Availability for emergency response during inclement weatherBenefits:Transportation Allowance8 Paid HolidaysPaid Funeral Leave & Jury Duty LeaveHealth Benefits (eligible 1st of month after 60 days):Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceEmployer-paid Life InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Retirement (eligible after 3 months, age 21+):Traditional & Roth 401(k) optionsAdditional Perks:Employee Recognition ProgramDiscounted Housing (more details available during interview)
