Job Description – TRAVEL – RN – PCU (616) – HCA HealthONE Aurora – 7P – 7A Unit Information: PC2 Progressive Care / (616) Location HCA HealthONE Aurora Address: 1501 S Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80012 Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 345 – 3-time Magnet Designation Number of Staff – float pool is about 80 Type of staff: Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units Patient Ratios – 1:5 days and nights varies between units Types of equipment – various EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience

BLS, ACLS & NIH

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Meditech experience Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Varies between units – Large Cardiac Population – what 2 Tele Floors and a PCU Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units Best personality Fit: Flexibility and willingness to float Team player and compassion is a must Great leaning opportunity to learn to care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic.
