Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Macomb Post Acute Care Center
Macomb, IL
$38–$42/hour

Macomb Post Acute Care Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation department. In this role, you will help residents strengthen communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while working closely with a supportive interdisciplinary care team.

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs
• Create individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide therapy focused on communication, cognition, and dysphagia management
• Track resident progress and adjust treatment approaches when appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and rehabilitation team members
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
