The nurse must demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based practices. They should possess knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacological implications. Accurate and thorough documentation of assessments is required. Clinical procedures such as IV insertion, Foley catheterization, and dressing changes must be performed competently. Providing effective patient and family education is essential. The nurse meets standards in the proper use of tele monitoring, intravenous therapy, and safe medication administration. Recognizing changes in a patient's condition is critical. The nurse will act as a patient advocate and work independently as well as part of a team. Constructive feedback should be accepted positively. A professional appearance must be maintained at all times. Tasks should be completed within designated timeframes. Initiative and follow-up on responsibilities are expected. The position may require working with patients across various age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
