In this role, you will bring our brands to life across a diverse commerce ecosystem, including:Escaladesports.comGoalrilla.com and goalsetter.comSwingsets.com and ravesports.comOnixpickleball.com and stigaus.comEssential Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain responsive, mobile-first Shopify storefronts across 9 brand sites.Update brand sites to Shopify 2.0 Theme'sWrite custom Liquid templates, sections, and blocks. Implement modern JavaScript/CSS animations and interactive elements to elevate digital brand experienceBuild, test, and deploy front-end features, landing pages, and A/B test variations designed to improve user engagement and conversion ratesOptimize web assets and audit front-end code to ensure maximum page-load speeds, excellent Core Web Vitals, and strong SEO, GEO and AEO foundationsLead innovation by staying ahead of UI/UX trends and proactively recommending improvements to our tech stack and processesWorks closely with internal IT Team and external partners to ensure functionalityWorks closely with Brand and Creative Teams to enhance customer experienceQualifications & Requirements3+ years of professional front-end web development experience, with a proven track record of building and customizing Shopify storefrontsExperience in HTML5, CSS3/SAAS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)Strong proficiency in Liquid and schema architectureFamiliarity with GitHub and Shopify CLI for proper deploymentSolid understanding of responsive web design practices and mobile-first development paradigmsFamiliarity with performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA), and cross-browser compatibilityExperience with GA4 and GTM.A keen eye for design aesthetics, excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA strong portfolio demonstrating live Shopify web pages, interactive front-end components, and responsive layout implementationsPhysical DemandsSitting, talking and listening at least 2/3 of the timeLifting up to 25 poundsStooping and kneelingFine motor coordinationWorking ConditionsOffice environmentOccasional domestic travel required Escalade, Inc.
