Home Helpers of Olney in Montgomery County is looking for passionate and caring CNAs that can start immediately. This position is full-time with 5 hours of overtime every week. We are a part of a 29-year-old franchise that is eager to grow our team by offering a stable career path to compassionate Caregivers who provide one-on-one in-home companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or continuing care. Shift: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 7:00pm and Friday 2:00pm - 7:00pm (45 hours every week) The client is bedridden and receives all care in bed. The client weighs approximately 210 pounds, so applicants must be capable of providing the necessary physical assistance.

Qualifications:

1. Current CNA license
2. Current CPR and First Aid certification
3. At least 5 years of experience in the field
4. Must have Dementia care experience
5. Must have reliable transportation to get to the shift
6. Must be able to cook and use household appliances
7. Must be able to work with bedridden client

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

1. Personal Care ( Bathing, dressing, etc. in the bed )
2. Meal preparation
3. Light housekeeping
4. Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
5. Assist with medication reminders
6. Engage the client in conversation
7. Do exercises with the client in the bed
