Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking dedicated Welders & Fitters to join their dynamic team. As a Welders & Fitters, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welders & Fitters Location: Cameron, TX Pay Range: $20+/DOE Shift: 1st & 2nd What's the Job?- Operate semi-automatic and fully automatic welding equipment with precision and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Weld in various positions including flat, vertical, and horizontal, adhering to established procedures.
- Inspect welded surfaces to meet quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing welding experience.
- Proficiency in welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, SAW, and FCAW; GTAW qualification preferred.
- Ability to operate welding-related equipment including positioners, jig fixtures, and cutting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards.
