Field Service Supervisor II

Provide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services in the assigned area Support profitable margins and service-related sales and service targets Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment Report injuries or incidents involving subordinates Develop and schedule projects for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees Follow company policies and procedures covering warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 requirements Present information to customers, clients, and employees in one-on-one and small-group settings Oversee the physical plant and service vehicles Identify target end-user accounts and sell service programs Manage customer relations and resolve customer issues Directly manage service employees, including training, performance reviews, recognition, goal setting, and salary administration Control inventory Direct and perform diagnosis and repair Develop and conduct safe-equipment-operation training for team members and customers Provide a communication link between customers and the company to ensure effective service Generate substantial annual revenues Function with little direction and complete compliance and job-specific training Supervise field support/technicians and/or shop technicians Mentor new field supervisors Report to regional and operations managers Requirements Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience 5+ years of previous customer service experience and field support experience Able to read, write, and comprehend English Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and the internet Able to perform basic math using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude Able to solve equations and problems College degree preferred; high school diploma/GED accepted with industry-related experience Advanced electrical and mechanical understanding preferred Experience using test equipment and reading schematics preferred
