Our team focuses on delivering the best experience to our customers in every part of their home. Job Overview The Glazier / Installer is the primary product fulfillment position in the company. Glaziers / Installers deliver the customer experience and handle the final installation process. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly inspect job materials, ensuring the product(s) are the correct size & style, and that there is no obvious damage or flaws. Load required job materials to the installation vehicle(s), including redundant materials, tools, job folder/paperwork, and safety equipment. Communicate to office and customer if we will be late for a scheduled installation appointment. Upon arrival at customer’s home, validate the work to be completed, the product(s) to be installed, installation location(s), and the estimated time it will take to complete the job. Manage customer expectations accordingly. Install all products and services included in the work order, troubleshoot, and strive to resolve any installation problems that occur on site. If it is not possible to safely perform a quality service on the promised date, note all issues, required materials, and schedule a satisfactory completion date with the customer. Communicate with relevant team members regarding incomplete work, ensuring new materials are ordered and the reason for rework is identified. Take care of the customer’s home or business, keeping it cleaner than when we arrived. Close out the installation by walking the customer through product care, warranty, and how to contact us for future needs. Qualifications & Educational Requirements 1 year of residential glass installation experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Must pass a background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record. Physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs unassisted, in good health. Preferred Skills Residential glass replacement, including single/double pane windows, shower enclosures, skylights. Residential window/door installation, new construction and retrofit. Window/door maintenance, weatherization, and repair. Effective troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
