Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests—encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—adhering to established protocols.
• Verify results for precision, diagnose issues, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Aid in specimen collection as needed and expertly prepare samples for testing.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and secure working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree with a plan to attain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification status throughout your employment.
