We recognize that each member’s fitness journey is different, thus, we offer a wide variety of group classes, small group activities and personal training.The Janitor / Cleaner is responsible for creating a culture of cleanliness by maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and safe environment for Members and staff.ResponsibilitiesEffectively and efficiently handle Member situations, concerns, and feedback.Follow all company safety and security procedures, and maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition in compliance with OSHA guidelinesMonitor and report necessary repairs, replacements, maintenance issues, and safety hazardsOperate mechanical cleaning equipmentVacuum, clean carpets, rugs and draperiesClean, dust, and polish furniture, metal fixtures, fittings, and ceiling fansEmpty and clean trash containers in a sanitary mannerClean wash basins, mirrors, and showersWipe down glass surfaces and windowsSweep, scrub, mop and polish floorsOther duties as assigned to support the vision and mission at O2 FitnessExperienceJanitorial and/or Housekeeping experience preferredExperience cleaning businesses or gyms is a +Qualities for SuccessPersonal passion for the brandAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detailStrong time management and organizational skillsMust be highly motivatedPhysical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bendAbility to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 45 lbs.)CompensationHourly rateEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
