Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Sign On Bonus $10,000 Summary: Provides direct patient pulmonary care in the chronic hospital and to other patients of the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in accordance with JCAHO, State, Hospital and Departmental Standards. Administers all respiratory care procedures and tests as prescribed in accordance with established policy and procedure. Maintains and monitors documentation of Respiratory Care interventions such as Care Plans, Medication Kardex, and Patient Daily Data Record. Troubleshoots basic equipment problems. Tags and logs all broken equipment indicating the nature of the problem. Demonstrates understanding, compassion, and skill competence while meeting the psychosocial and psychophysical needs of patients and residents.
