Controller – San Francisco, CA – Direct Hire – Accounting Management – Salary $190K–$275K – Expiry 05/26/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $190,000 to $270,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activity, payables, receivables, payroll, and project related accounting. Prepare consolidated and entity level financial statements and ensure timely reporting. Manage intercompany transactions, cash activity, and coordination across multiple business units. Support project and cost tracking activities by reviewing budgets, expenses, and performance. Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership to support operational and strategic decisions. Requirements: 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong understanding of multi entity accounting and project based financial tracking. Previous experience working in industries such as real estate, construction, or similar environments. Proficiency with office productivity tools, including advanced spreadsheet capabilities. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast paced environment. Qualifications: Certified public accountant credential. Strong technical accounting knowledge with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
