68W Combat Medic Specialist - Entry Level

U.S. Army Reserves

ABOUT THIS JOB

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE***

As a Combat Medic Specialist, you'll deliver emergency medical care in high-pressure situations, from accidents and natural disasters to military training and operations. You'll assess injuries, stabilize patients, and make critical medical decisions under extreme conditions. You'll also train other Soldiers in first aid and provide ongoing medical support on base.

Skills you'll learn align with Emergency Care, Patient Care, Instructing & Training. In addition, there are 68 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!

If you have prior experience, the Army Civilian Acquired Skills Program (ACASP) can reduce the length of your initial training and streamline your assignment process, so you can start your Army career sooner. 10 weeks of Basic Training
16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
U.S. Citizen
17 to 42 Years Old
High School Diploma or GED
Meet Tattoo Guidelines
No Major Law Violations
No Medical Concerns
