About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: 1 year of EPIC experience required Description: Shift hours change weekly between 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Call is required - 4-5 days per month, but varies based on need. Weekend shifts: 1 weekend shift every other month, but varies based on need. Floating is required to other facilities if needed. Medication system utilized: Pyxis & Omnicell. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is helpful. Charting system experience preferred. Daily census and number of visits are based on unit needs. Staffing needs may require floating to other units. All agency staff must float to other units and/or campuses as requested. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for. Recovery from conscious sedation and monitoring required. Inpatient care experience is necessary. Ability to administer conscious sedation is required. Additional interdisciplinary support available. Eligible travelers must have a minimum of 100 miles distance from any facility for consideration. All assignments require compliance with travel and staffing requirements. Modules are billable and must be completed prior to starting. Pre-Assignment testing is required for all nursing personnel. Adjustments to staff schedules may occur based on patient needs. Additional requirements may involve specific competencies. Documentation of competencies must be maintained. All nursing staff must ensure compliance with established protocols.
