Position Summary The 2nd Shift Production Scheduler monitors customer orders for anchor accounts, troubleshoots bottlenecks, and expediates past‑due work orders through manufacturing to ensure on‑time shipments. Ideal Candidate Requirements Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship. Commute: Must be able to commute to Hobart, Indiana on a daily basis and work Monday through Friday, 3:00pm‑11:30pm CST. Communication Skills: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Responsibilities Monitor open work orders scheduled for shipment and identify incomplete orders using departmental reports (Staged Order, Master Plan, Master Production Schedule, Shiplist, and Shortage reports). Track dispatch reports and notify production schedulers and supervisors of work orders requiring completion to meet shipping schedules. Communicate with Shipping and Traffic regarding scheduled shipments. Communicate with Purchasing regarding component delays. Maintain the Master Plan for all anchor accounts. Expedite revisions and non‑conformances for anchor accounts through manufacturing. Monitor the two‑week shortage report and non‑assembly report for production shortages, and follow up with production supervisors to prioritize shortages within manufacturing. Attend daily production stand‑up meetings, tracking progress of anchor accounts. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or scheduling experience. Knowledge of MRP systems and experience with advanced user functionality. Knowledge of varied manufacturing processes.
