FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Location and Schedule Location: Tesla - 13101 Harold Green Road, Austin, TX 78725. Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Online applications only. Compensation Fixed pay rate: $19.50 per hour. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface. Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lb.
