Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:
- Current state nursing license
- CPR, ACLS, NRP certifications
- High-risk labor and delivery experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws.
- Document care and interventions according to standards.
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on the individualized needs of the patient.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across units/departments.
- Employ critical thinking for patient safety and experience, and escalate issues appropriately.
