American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required Must-Have: CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy experience required Description: Performs a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs all routine Radiographic procedures, CT Exams, and fluoroscopic procedures including pediatric, adult, trauma, routine, portables, STAT, and surgery exams. Assists Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and recording information for physicians to dictate. Responsible for quality assurance of all department equipment, including tracking mechanical failures, issuing service requests, and ensuring equipment is in good condition for use. Monitors inventory and supplies and ensures appropriate supply levels. Assists medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while practicing safe operation of equipment. Verifies the existence and accuracy of exam requests and consents. Potential to cover in the Orthopedic clinic for half of the time. Detail-oriented and friendly with a collaborative team player attitude. Flexible in scheduling and responsibilities.
