About the Role:
Blue Ramirez Inc is looking for an energetic and personable Cashier / Bartender to join our team in Houston, TX! This is a dynamic dual role where you'll keep the bar buzzing and the register running smoothly. If you love people, fast-paced environments, and great vibes, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar
- Process customer transactions accurately using a POS/cash register system
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and accountability
- Greet and engage customers to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Monitor and maintain bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed
- Verify customer age and comply with all alcohol service regulations
- Keep the bar and cashier area clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Requirements:
- Previous bartending and/or cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine service
- Strong cash handling and basic math skills
- TABC certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be 18+ years of age per Texas alcohol service requirements
