About the Opportunity

In this role, you play a key part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You work hands-on in the laboratory, performing assays that directly impact the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of QIAGEN's diagnostic and life science solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision, learning, and continuous improvement are part of your everyday work.

Your Tasks Include

• Perform assays independently and evaluate results to support product qualification.
• Follow established quality control work instructions and maintain an excellent compliance mindset.
• Document all work in a complete, accurate, and contemporaneous manner.
• Manage reagents, materials, and inventory needed for QC testing.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen QC processes.
• Work safely and comfortably with radioactivity as part of routine testing.
• Contribute to developing, revising, and reviewing SOPs as well as qualification or validation protocols and reports.

Your Profile

• Bring up to 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Show strong interest and ability to grow your molecular biology skill set, including handling complex assay testing.
• Understand the fundamentals of quality control and are eager to work toward ISO-compliant processes.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot assays and suggest improvements.
• Navigate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related systems with confidence.
• Communicate effectively, collaborate positively, and manage your workload independently in a dynamic environment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan and generous benefits.
