Junior Prosecution Associate - Chemical

Role Overview Finnegan’s Chemical Practice Group is seeking an attorney for our Washington, DC office to manage and supervise patent prosecution, due diligence, and FTO work. Responsibilities Manage and supervise patent prosecution, due diligence, and FTO work Provide training and day-to-day supervision of technical specialists and junior attorneys Handle large clients with substantial portfolios globally and lead client meetings Provide counseling matters related to patent work Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in supervising technical specialists and junior attorneys, working on patent prosecution, due diligence, FTO, and counseling matters Science background in organic chemistry/small molecules required Advanced degree strongly preferred Licensed to practice before the USPTO and in a state where Finnegan has an office Compensation The base annual pay range for this role is between $235,000 - $435,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.
