Compliance Coordinator

DUTIES & SCOPE:

* * Previous experience in compliance, workforce administration, licensing, HR, or construction administration preferred. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Experience working in a construction environment is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Partner with the San Diego Compliance team to support project-specific compliance requirements. * Assist new hires who are eligible for Iowa Journeyman license reciprocity and guide them through the application process. * Track and monitor license applications, approvals, renewals, and expiration dates. * Manage the Journeyman Referral Bonus Program, including tracking referrals, eligibility requirements, and payouts. * Maintain accurate employee licensing and certification records. * Communicate with employees, licensing agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding licensing requirements and deadlines. * Generate reports and provide regular updates on licensing status, compliance metrics, and referral program activity. * Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Based on an active construction job site. * Requires frequent interaction with employees, field leadership, and compliance personnel. * Ability to walk long distances across large construction sites. * Ability to work in loud and active construction environments while adhering to all site safety requirements. * Ability to stand and sit for extended periods throughout the workday. * May require occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions. * Must be able to move throughout the job site to meet with employees and conduct compliance-related activities.

The starting base pay for this role is between USD $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
