Evening shift & Night shift 5 8 hour shifts are also available-3p-11:30pm & 11:00p-7:30am. This position will provide direct patient care according to individualized treatment care plans. This will include helping patients with activities of daily living and helping patients learn new social and inter-actionable skills in a safe therapeutic environment. Ability to provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff; ability to follow instructions and report observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to licensed nurse in timely manner Skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living; has knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders. Minimum Qualifications Valid Drivers license Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant license Basic computer skills Additional Considerations Health care experience preferred Long Term Care and Nursing Home experience preferred.
