Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging studies (X-ray) per physician orders, ensuring correct positioning, shielding, and image quality.
- Provide imaging support during interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab, including image acquisition and documentation; assist with neuro, trauma, and vascular cases as assigned.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor for safety, and verify patient data and allergies; maintain infection control and radiation safety practices.
- Maintain imaging equipment readiness, perform basic quality checks, and document procedures and findings in the patient record.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging for high-acuity cases; participate in on-call scheduling as required.
- Adhere to site-specific policies for on-call nights, weekends, and one major holiday; respond within a 30-minute callback timeframe.

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of interventional radiology (IR) experience
- Cath Lab experience preferred; experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP advantageous
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to work in a high-acuity hospital/IR environment
- Willingness to participate in on-call shifts (nights, weekends, one major holiday) and to travel to the assignment location
- Ability to function effectively within the imaging department and collaborate with the IR team
