Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to create tailored treatment plans based on individual patient trauma histories. \n
- Implement personalized therapeutic interventions, leveraging techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and encouraging emotional healing. \n
- Work in concert with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's wellbeing are addressed. \n
- Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing effective strategies to stabilize and guide clients. \n
- Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records reflect current best practices. \n
- Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment progress and share insights, enhancing the collaborative atmosphere of our care approach. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and methodological advancements in trauma therapy to continually elevate the quality of care provided. \n
The ideal candidate will work closely with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, offering a tailored therapeutic experience that addresses their individual histories and promotes recovery. Our clients typically face challenges related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, necessitating a sensitive and knowledgeable approach to counseling.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential. \n
- Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and the ability to implement them effectively in clinical settings. \n
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients. \n
- Strong ability to manage stressful situations with a calm demeanor, coupled with proficiency in relevant electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n

- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, particularly involving trauma-focused therapeutic interventions. \n
- Familiarity with the complexities of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building methodologies is highly desirable. \n
