Job Description:

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas. You will also clean and maintain restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are stocked and sanitary. Additionally, you will empty trash and recycle bins, report maintenance issues, and follow infection control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas

• Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring they are stocked and sanitary

• Empty trash and recycle bins and properly dispose of waste

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to facility policies and standards

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff

   

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

• Good communication skills and a friendly, compassionate attitude toward residents

• Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 25 lbs)

   

Schedule:

• Full-time position, 7.5 hours per day/5 days per week

• Shifts include every other weekend and occasional holidays
