ARRT - Radiologic Technologist / X Ray
MLR is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at a respected Vermont facility. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams to support accurate diagnosis of patient conditions and injuries. Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring all images meet quality standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver reliable, timely imaging results.
Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technologist:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow protocols to obtain high-quality images and maintain patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
Rad Tech Job Requirements:
- ARRT (R) (CT) certified
- Vermont Radiologic Technologist License needed upon start date
- BLS certified
