Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Compensation: $19.50 hourly. Employment Type: Full-time. Job Summary: The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of building systems and infrastructure. In collaboration with local customers and other stakeholders, the manager ensures facilities operate cost‑effectively and meet contractual obligations. Qualifications 5 years of facility management experience Building operations experience 3 years of supervisory experience Budgeting skills Operations management experience Maintenance experience Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Able to manage and train entry‑level personnel Able to deal with customers and stakeholders at all levels Team player committed to a quality environment Required to report to the job site on a daily basis May require the ability to travel Responsibilities Ensures that all facilities are operated and maintained in a cost‑effective and safe condition in accordance with the approved budget and the customers’ requirements to fulfill contractual obligations. Maintains a proactive relationship with customers and understands the business needs of local customers.
