Overview Department Description: Work and Material Management (WAMM) in the Applications & Analytics (A&A) organization is responsible for the apps, data, and processes needed to intake new work and follow it all the way to completion within the utility company. That is everything from getting requirements from customers and designing the work, to scheduling and building. The group is part of a larger technical wing of the company and is currently undergoing a digital first transformation. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineers, designers, and product managers—to ensure software is functional, scalable, and reliable. Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers while driving technical direction and architectural decisions. Maintain end‑to‑end solutions, address production bugs, and ensure overall system reliability. Operate in a hybrid workplace; required presence in Jackson offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Required Skills & Experience .NET 5.0+ experience – 4+ years Front‑end experience (Angular or React/Next) – 4+ years Cloud‑first development and troubleshooting Quick learning and implementation of new tools, techniques, languages, and processes Excellent communication with stakeholders and customers Ability to maintain end‑to‑end solutions and ensure system reliability Preferred Skills Paired Programming Test Driven Development Agile System of Delivery experience Incremental Design CI/CD pipeline implementation Understanding of XP practices Experience with SAP PO and BTP endpoints Experience with .NET Framework 4.X Understanding of PowerApps Microsoft Azure experience VM maintenance and updates Flexibility in rapidly changing systems Network documentation (firewalls and IA diagrams) Qualifications Self‑propelled, fast‑learning engineering professional capable of driving technical outcomes post‑deployment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
