Community Based Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist

About the Role ACE Wellness Center is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Specialist/Group Facilitator (QMHS) to lead and coordinate therapeutic activities within our day treatment setting for youth facing behavioral health challenges. The QMHS provides community-based services and telehealth support to encourage progress toward meeting client goals. Responsibilities Conduct structured therapeutic group sessions focused on behavioral health issues, emotional regulation, and social skills development among youth. Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that fosters community and trust. Interact with clients and families to monitor progress and ensure satisfaction. Assess, document, and communicate participants’ progress; adjust treatment plans as needed. Record case information and complete required forms and paperwork while adhering to agency standards. Address motivational and psychosocial issues; facilitate case coordination and information sharing. Create service plans and assist in case closures. Provide services at times and locations most needed, maintaining flexibility, including evenings and weekends. Qualifications Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; judgment, flexibility, commitment, and internal drive/motivation. Associate degree preferred. Three years of behavioral health experience (required). Driver’s License (required).
