CAMPS MINISTRY MISSION CRISTA Camps strives to provide memorable camp experiences where people encounter Christ and servant leaders are developed, so that lives and communities are transformed. POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Associate will promote Miracle Ranch to churches, parachurches, and non-profit organizations. This innovative leader will pursue new camps business and maintain existing relationships with groups that are returning to camps. To accomplish goals, utilize various means of in person meetings, phone calls, emails. Work in conjunction with the Camps leadership, marketing/ finance teams to build direct ministry programs and guest group partnerships. Sales may regularly take place at the client or customer’s place of business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (General overview and may include all details of responsibilities) Sales Effort Prospect, cold call and develop new customers for camps Maintain existing and returning groups and seek to reactivate lapsed accounts Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals with established by VP and sales team members Promote Miracle Ranch Maintaining strong knowledge of guest goals while balancing ministry objectives Send out quotes and booking forms as needed Communicate the value of camp and CRISTA Camps offerings to groups. Addressing their needs with thoughtful and creative solutions Work in collaboration with Vice President to establish rates and follow CRISTA Camps’ pricing and negotiation guidelines, with the purpose of growing and generating revenue Collaborative development of sales packages or group offerings Sales may regularly take place at the client or customer’s place of business Sales and Team Communication Provide timely weekly sales report to Vice President and Bookkeeper for commission record keeping Active participation in team meetings Clear follow-through on booking details, paperwork, and internal coordination. Communicating with Guest Communications Lead and Program staff to execute a smooth experience for our guests Work Conduct Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers. Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC). ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS CHRIST CENTERED Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.) Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC) Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and CCC Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. EXPERIENCE 1 to 3 years of sales experience, recruiting experience, internship program management or leadership training LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION CPR/First-Aid SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE Proficiency with Microsoft Office OTHER CONSIDERATIONS Experience in ministry, ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, co-workers, and church partners Ability to pass background checks relating to DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in education or related field EXPERIENCE Ministry sales experience, non-profit sales experience, recreational camps sales experience, fundraising experience SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE Venue 360 software or other CRM and sales software STATEMENT OF NONDISCRIMINATION CRISTA is a Christian, religious organization that lives out its faith-based mission through five ministries.
