Quality Assurance Manager

Trillium is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Kansas City!


This Direct-Hire opportunity is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for leading quality operations, driving process excellence, and elevating production performance inside a fast-moving aerospace manufacturing environment.


This role is a chance to step into a high-impact position where your expertise directly shapes product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational success. You’ll partner with engineering, machining, fabrication, and leadership teams to strengthen quality systems, improve capability, and support continuous improvement across the entire facility.


Responsibilities:
• Oversee all quality assurance functions across machining, fabrication, and assembly.
• Partner with engineering to review customer requirements and plan quality processes.
• Create and refine inspection methods, including CMM programs, to verify product conformance.
• Evaluate inspection results to assess capability, variation, and compliance.
• Manage nonconforming product control and drive corrective actions.
• Train teams on quality procedures, equipment usage, and safety expectations.
• Maintain calibration and proper operation of all inspection tools and equipment.
• Ensure full adherence to the company’s Quality Management System and industry standards.


Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday through Friday / 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $110,000 to $130,000 annually DOE.

• SolidWorks, CADD, and 3D modeling capabilities.
• Aerospace machining experience.
• Technical communication across engineering, sales, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Deep working knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, and quality practices.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in aerospace engineering or machining within precision manufacturing or aerostructure environments.
• Experience supporting machining, fabrication, assembly, or process planning.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training aligned with aerospace process engineering or manufacturing planning.
