Material Handler Heavy Lifting

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.48/hr (Employees who have perfect attendance until 7/31/26 will receive a $500 attendance bonus)
Employment Type: Contract with possibility for extension or hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a Material Handler Heavy Lifting professional for a contract role in Denver, with the potential for extension or full‐time hire based on performance and business needs. This position is highly physical and requires continuous movement, strength, and endurance. The material handler heavy lifting role involves handling storage boxes, bins, totes, and various materials weighing from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs.

Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413‐11 safety standards with a “Better or Best” slip‐resistant rating is required and must have on day one.

Work Schedule

• Normal Schedule: 5 days per week
• Shift Length: 9 hours per day
• Breaks: One 30‐minute lunch + two 15‐minute breaks

Job Responsibilities

The material handler heavy lifting position includes processing orders and manually moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other stored materials. This role requires frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Essential Functions

• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for long periods
• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up inclines, stairs, and uneven surfaces
• Read and write English to process orders and labels
• Lift and move boxes weighing 10–100 lbs without assistance
• Use a proprietary computer system to track and locate materials
• Operate handheld scanners
• Climb and balance on ladders
• Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material‐handling tools
• Load and shrink‐wrap pallets at ground level or on carts
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually or with equipment

Physical Requirements

This material handler heavy lifting role requires:

• Repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to safely maneuver boxes up to 100 lbs
• Comfort working on concrete and uneven surfaces
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing
