What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate nursing care, treatments and medications to residents
Monitor residents' health and communicate changes to physicians and nursing leadership
Complete assessments, documentation and required reports
Provide emergency care and respond to residents' changing needs
Supervise and support nursing staff as assigned
Work collaboratively with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

Current Virginia nursing license appropriate to the position
Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills
Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and disabled residents
Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow nursing policies and procedures
Ability to work in an active healthcare environment and meet the physical demands of the position
