Senior Technical Project Manager - Workday Financials Apply Type Contract ID j-25114 Posted May 20, 2026 We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in Workday Financials implementations to lead complex, enterprise-level ERP initiatives. This role requires a highly proactive leader who can drive execution, enforce accountability, and elevate delivery performance across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical project leadership, executive communication, and hands-on delivery rigor, with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end ERP Financial Management implementations. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday Financials (Financial Management) implementations and enhancements Drive project execution across planning, design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support Hold teams accountable for deliverables, timelines, and quality standards Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans Provide clear, concise executive-level reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders Ensure alignment across business, technical, and vendor teams Engage stakeholders to manage expectations, scope, and priorities Implement and maintain project governance, controls, and best practices Foster a high-performance environment by driving urgency, ownership, and accountability Manage hybrid delivery teams using Waterfall, Agile, and blended methodologies Required Qualifications 15+ years of Project Management experience, with a strong technical delivery background Proven success leading ERP Financial Systems implementations, preferably Workday Financial Management (not just HCM) Demonstrated experience managing complex, enterprise-scale programs Strong expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models Excellent executive presence with experience presenting to C-level and senior stakeholders Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate: Project status Risks and mitigation strategies Dependencies and impacts Proven ability to drive teams, enforce accountability, and proactively solve problems Experience managing cross-functional teams, including vendors and system integrators Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Auto Finance, Financial Services, or lending organizations Workday Financials certification or prior implementation with Workday Financial Management modules Ability to be onsite/hybrid in DFW Strong track record of improving team performance and delivery outcomes What We’re Looking For A hands-on, assertive PM who doesn’t just track progress—but drives it Someone who can push teams forward, remove blockers, and escalate when needed A proactive leader who identifies issues early and ensures timely resolution A confident communicator who can operate comfortably at both team and executive levels #J-18808-Ljbffr PMO Partners LLC
