Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as They Fall in Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the continuum of acuity
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float within the Emergency Room specialty and to other units within scope in an extender role as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact State license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current CPI certification (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Comfort with floating to various units within scope and without restrictions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
