The Twos Teacher plays a crucial role in nurturing the early development of young children through a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment. This position focuses on fostering growth in toddlers by utilizing play-based learning and individualized instruction tailored to their developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and positive environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Assess children's developmental progress regularly
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's growth and needs
• Promote early childhood development through sensory and play-based learning
• Supervise safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
• Guide and support positive behavior among children
• Collaborate with team members to enhance program quality
• Provide individualized instruction to meet each child's unique needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in early childhood education
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Strong knowledge of child development principles
• Proficient in lesson planning and classroom management
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Demonstrates patience, creativity, and teamwork
