DevOps Engineer - Remote

DevOps EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote position with a global financial institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for application deployment automation and the creation and management of CI/CD pipelines for on-premise, internal, and external cloud-based platforms. You will help build and support the DevOps pipeline for a hybrid cloud environment, assist with onboarding new projects, and collaborate with a global team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while adhering to company policies.Responsibilities:Application deployment automation and creation and management of CI/CD pipelines for on-prem, internal and external cloud-based platformsBuild and support DevOps pipeline for Hybrid CloudHelping with the on-boarding of new projects, developers, applications and new software toolsHelp define and refine user stories and acceptance criterion in achieving desired outcomesCollaborate as part of a global and diverse team, with clients across the globeCommunicate with users, developers and other DevOps teams to get projects deliveredCollaborate with platform, security and control teams to ensure firms policies are adheredRequirements:5+ years' experience working with one or more cloud providers like Azure, AWS, GCP10+ years overall experience in a DevOps roleExperience in using tools like Harness, GitHub, GitHub Actions or Jenkins pipelinesProficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, PythonExperience with container management utilizing Docker & Kubernetes, and IaC tools such as TerraformExperience in modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) and with DevOps mentality and test-driven development approachesExperience in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipeline processes; automated build and test systems with one or more cloud service providersExperience implementing shift left methodologies incorporating security early in the pipelineExperience in modern Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in using AI tools to accelerate deliverablesAssociate or Intermediate level industry certification in DevOpsDesired skills:Expertise with multiple IaC tools like Cloud Formation, ARM templatesExperience in monitoring frameworks for Cloud systemsExperience with Policy as Code tools and enforcement in pipelineExperience with CI/CD open source and vendor frameworksExperience with support models and configuration management systems like AnsibleExperience in the financial industry is a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similarAdvanced level industry certification in DevOpsPay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
