Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology

Position Overview Eckerd College invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor position with expertise in cellular/molecular biology, beginning September 2026. Responsibilities Deliver seven courses per year in a 3‑1‑3 semester format. Contribute to the delivery of our regular introductory courses “Cells & Genes” and “Cellular Processes” as well as a 200‑level Genetics and Molecular Biology course. Engage undergraduate students in high‑quality, innovative teaching. Qualifications Ph.D. in the biological sciences (or a closely related field). Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and a demonstrated record of teaching experience.
